Well, we have brought you a simple and easy to cook homemade granola. The recipe will teach you to cook granola with few ingredients. Plus, for some added style, I suggest serving up in a coconut bowl.  So, if you love granola, then this recipe is for you! Let’s start with the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Canola oil or olive oil – ½ cup
  • Honey or you can use maple syrup – ½ cup
  • Ground cinnamon – ½ tbsp
  • Salt – ½ tbsp
  • Rolled oats – 3 cups
  • Almonds (sliced) – 1 cup
  • Raisins & chopped fruits of your choice – 1 cup

Method

Follow these simple steps to prepare delicious homemade granola.

Step #1

Place a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat oven to 300oF. Arrange a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside for later use.

Step #2

Take a large mixing bowl, add honey, ground cinnamon, oil, salt, and whisk the ingredients until they’re thoroughly combined.

Step #3

Add oats and almonds into the mixture and stir well. If you added extra oats, don’t worry, all you need to do is stir well so that all the oats are coated well in the mixture.

Step #4

Next, transfer the oats, almonds mixture on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the oats evenly; you can use a spatula if oats are clumpy.

Step #5

Place the oats in a baking oven and bake for twenty minutes. After 10 minutes, make sure to stir the oats. The homemade granola will be ready when almonds turn golden brown. Don’t worry if the granola feels wet once it is out of the oven because it will dry when it cools.

Step #6

Now, it is time to add raisins and fruits. You can use chopped fruits of your choice. Next, let homemade granola cool down completely before you store.

For storage use, air-tight container and you can store it room temperature for long-term use.
